About Our Client
A fast growing and highly successful accountancy practice based in Aylesbury is searching for a Bookkeeper to join their team, in a hands on, key support role, bookkeeping and managing the provision of services to a client portfolio. This will include VAT & CIS returns and providing online accounting advise and other services to a mixed and varied client base. You will carve a key role here, adding value to clients and building relationships, within a growing team and firm.

- Maintain accurate financial records, including sales, receipts and payments
- Perform checks of the accounting system to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports
- Coordinate bank deposits and manage bank statements
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
- Preparing management accounts, VAT returns ad wider services
The Successful Applicant
The successful Bookkeeper should have:
- AAT Level 3 qualification (preferred)
- Proven bookkeeping experience - 1 or more years practice experience, or at least dealing with a portfolio of clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software's such as Xero.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- AAT studying, or hold an AAT qualification and/or, ACCA studying
- A commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality.
