Are you ready for a dynamic and fulfilling role in the housing sector that will shape the future of our services? Join our Practice Management Team as a Practice Management Officer and make a real impact on our organisation and the community we serve.
As a Practice Management Officer, you will play a pivotal role in identifying changes in policy, legislation, and standards, and translating them into actionable strategies and practices. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing advice and support to staff right across the service, as well as delivering projects that aim to improve services for our customers.
The role will require you to review existing policies and draft new ones, often in response to external drivers such as new legislation, government policies or regulatory activities. Your keen understanding of the challenges, problems and opportunities within Neighbourhoods and Housing will enable you to shape, plan and embed suitable solutions that drive positive change.
This is an incredibly exciting time to joint our Practice Management Team, as the government is implementing the Social Housing Regulation Act, which marks a new era of consumer regulation in the sector. You will be at the forefront of planning and preparing for this significant change, ensuring that we are well-prepared and equipped to meet the demands of this exciting new landscape.
In addition to your involvement in policy development, you will also be actively engaged in complex safeguarding cases and safeguarding projects.
To excel in this role, we are looking for someone who has;
- A strong background in the housing environment, with experience in managing change and project management.
- An ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders, including elected members.
- Excellent report writing skills and the ability to deliver presentations at all levels, particularly regarding the implementation of change.
If you’re passionate about Housing, willing to learn and develop in these key areas we would still be interested in hearing from you. For a further discussion please contact Jason Gould on 01482 615 403 or James Robinson on 01482 613 825
