Practice Manager

Clayton Legal Recruitment are working alongsideare a leading boutique law firm, assisting with the appointment of a Practice/Operations Manager.
Reporting to the Director of the firm, the Practice Manager will handle a diverse range of responsibilities, expected to include day-to-day and annual responsibility for the firms’ accounts; advice on regulatory compliance including SRA; organisation of the firm’s insurance, accreditation and practising certificate renewals; human resources management; attending Board meetings; negotiating with third party suppliers and developing organisational and performance systems.
Excellent organisation and problem solving skills are essential to the role.
Preferred experience includes:

• Previous relevant experience within the legal environment
• A comprehensive understanding of the Solicitor Accounts Rules and an overview of the general obligations of the SRA Handbook
• Human Resources knowledge and exposure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to adhere to and manage deadlines with minimal supervision
• Strong IT skills
