We are looking for an experienced Dental PM to join a passionate team in a professional, high end cosmetic dental clinic providing Private services. The role requires a balance of managing patients and staff in a recently opened, fully Private dental setting - located in South West London.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for effectively managing the practice and team - leading by example to consistently keep the team motivated, celebrating success, and implementing policies/procedures. They will be able to articulate a plan to ignite and grow a practice that has opened within the last 12 months - through, networking, local & digital marketing, social media etc. This role will be based on reception, acting as the focal point for our patients and helping to fill the diaries by delivering an amazing experience.
Key behaviours we expect to see are: consistent leadership, great communications, proactivity, persistence and enthusiasm. Previous clinical experience is desirable but not essential. Previous experience of directly managing a team of staff is essential.
Salary will be based on previous experience and discussed at the interview stage.
Main Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
· You will be confident leading a team of between 8-10 people and have experience of all the normal day to day management responsibilities
· The practice is fully computerised so competent level of IT proficiency is essential (this practice uses R4 as it's PMS)
· Ensuring the smooth, efficient and compliant running of the practice as a whole
· Achieving excellent service to patients, quality of service, cost and delivery of performance in accordance with the company strategy, targets and mission statement
· Driving patient referrals into the practice through excellent service and recommendation of existing patients
· Providing support and direction to enhance performance, skills and knowledge of practice staff
· You will coach, lead & develop high performing team
· You will plan & drive the income targets for the practice
· Monitor KPIs & support clinicians to achieve NHS/private targets
· Enable good communication in the practice, including regular practice meetings
· Be able to face difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues/complaints when they arise
· Deliver or internally source staff training/development for the team.
· To ensure the practice is a great place to work with a positive atmosphere and open door approach
