Job Summary:
- Responsible for delivering safe and effective patient care.
- Contribute to developing nursing services, working independently.
- Administer child and adult immunisations, vaccinations, and Smear testing services.
- Support, implement, and evaluate local standards and care pathways.
Description:
- Independently manage clinical workload, ensuring patient choice and access to services.
- Mentor and support staff in clinical skills development.
- Utilise referral pathways as needed.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment programs promoting health and well-being.
- Conduct regular medication reviews and provide travel health advice.
- Perform various procedures including venepuncture, wound management, and cryosurgery.
- Promote health education on diet, contraception, chronic disease management, etc.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified NMC registered Nurse with experience as a Practice Nurse.
- Up-to-date compliance documentation required for long-term locum contracting.
