Role Overview: We are currently seeking a Practice Nurse who is looking for locum work in Liverpool. The surgery is looking for 2 days a week on a regular long-term basis. They are very flexible with the start and finish times of the days and will be happy to book the right candidate in dependent on room availability at the practice but are very flexible on the 2 days a week you can commit to. Will also consider 1 day a week and use 2 different locums to cover their requirements. Looking to start the sessions as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform all QOF duties, including cytology, baby immunizations, and chronic disease management.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the clinical team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with practice protocols.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives as required.
Essential Requirements
• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience working within a primary care setting.
• Competent in performing cytology and administering immunisations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
