Further Details: We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Nurse to work as a Pre-Assessment Lead joining our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their hospital based on the outskirts of Nottingham. The hospital is ideally located close to Nottingham centre and is within easy reach of public transport links and local amenities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced Pre- Assessment Lead Nurse to join a leading, forward-thinking Private Hospital in their vibrant hospital. The role involves leading a busy and expanding Pre-Assessment department, working alongside a friendly and experienced team.
Duties and responsibilities
Working as a Pre-Assessment Lead Nurse you will be responsible for the following;
- Work with the Outpatient Manager to help support the smooth running of the department
- Lead a team of healthcare staff and provide training where required
- Develop excellent working relationships with staff, consultants, suppliers and key stakeholders
- Provide effective motivation, monitoring and support for the Pre- Assessment tam
- Providing patient centred care across a range of specialities
- Promote best practice
Who we are looking for;
All applicants for the role of Pre Assessment Lead Nurse must fit the following criteria;
- Be NMC registered RGN - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- At least 2 years experience in a Lead Nurse role in the UK
- Strong clinic background in a Pre-Assessment or similar setting
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards
- A good working knowledge and compliance with CQC standards
- A passionate for delivering excellent patient- focus services
- Excellent communication skills and computer skills
