AddressRecruitEasy are looking for a PreConstruction Manager to work for our client based in Wimslow , Cheshire.

Job Roles:
- Lead preconstruction activities, including cost estimating, budget development, and value engineering.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure project designs align with client expectations and requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to mitigate potential challenges.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and procurement strategies.
- Manage tendering processes and contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with the business development team to review project opportunities and assess feasibility.
- Conduct thorough site visits and assessments to gather relevant information for estimating purposes.
- Work with the estimators to prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labour, and other expenses, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Interrogate the design and construction requirements for the bid
- Develop project schedules, timelines, and phasing plans in coordination with the project management team.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities during the pre-construction phase and provide proactive solutions.
- Review and analyse tender documents, contracts, and specifications to ensure compliance and mitigate potential issues.
- Support the development of value engineering solutions to meet client objectives and budget constraints.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pre-Construction Manager or similar role within the Civil Engineering or Utilities sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work well under pressure to deadlines.
- Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field is preferred.
- Driving license required.
Pay Rate: £65,000 to £80,000 per Year
We do not charge Payroll Admin Fees or use Umbrella Companies to process your pay.
