We have an exciting opportunity in West Kent for a Prescription Base Administrator
Location: Maidstone Office (occasional support in Gravesend and/or Tunbridge Wells)
In this dynamic role, you'll be part of the West Kent Prescription Base Team, located in the Maidstone Office. Your responsibilities include producing, recording, and distributing prescriptions to local pharmacies. Working with a West Kent-wide multi-disciplinary team, you'll provide high-quality support to Doctors, Non-Medical Prescriber's (NMPs), Locality Leads, Team Leaders, and Recovery Workers. Your role involves maintaining local data systems, generating prescriptions, and offering valuable advice and support to pharmacy colleagues.
Prescription Process Management:
- Process batch printing and posting of all prescriptions.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacies across the West Kent area to ensure efficient prescription handling.
- Offer support to the Locality Project Administrators during times of sickness or annual leave.
- Handle service-wide building management issues, including ad-hoc requests.
- Provide practical assistance to the Senior Administrator, Project Administrators, Locality Leads, Team Leaders, and Clinical Staff.
- Offer enhanced support and liaison for all Pharmacy-based workers.
- Curiosity, excellent listening skills, and a flexible approach.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Enjoyment in paperwork and data inputting, with a keen eye for detail.
