Press Brake Operator

DC personnel are currently looking to hire a Press Brake Operator or Setter for our client based in Leicester LE7
Working hours are:
Rotating shifts, 6-2 and 2-10 Monday – Fridays shift times rotate weekly
Overtime is optional and available during the week and paid at 1.3x basic rate, and at 1.5x on Saturday
Pay rate is:
£12.50 - £13.50 an hour depending on experience
This is a permanent role beginning in February
Main Tasks
Operate Brake Press; including machine set-up, selecting tooling, safety checks. Machine programming - training can be provided.
Use of various hand tools and sheet metal machinery in the fabrication and finishing of materials (training will be provided).
Executing works orders to the required specified quality, accuracy and defined output rate.
Quality Assurance of components and finished goods by inspection of own work and others. Completion of associated documentation.
Maintain working area to a high level of housekeeping.
Knowledge & Skills
Operating a Press Brake.
Good level of numeracy.
Able to read technical drawings and perform measurements.
Basic computer skills.
Workshop and production health & safety practices.
