£11.55 - £13.65 depending on experience

Day to Day Duties

As a Press Brake Operator your day to day duties will mainly revolve around:

• Operate Press Brake machines
• Be able to carry out sheet metal assembly work
• Cover punch press operation when needed
• To operate brake laser according to specifications and safety standards.
• Perform set up of machines.
• Loading and unloading, emptying scrap metal, organisation of area.
• Establish proper stop location and adjust laser beam focal point
• Flexibility to cover other Production assembly roles if required

Essential Skills

• Ability to use variety of tools and equipment
• 6 months of Press Brake Operator experience
• Ability to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings
• Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Organisational skills
• Reliability
• Self-motivated
• Flexible and willing take on a variety of tasks
• Team Player

Working in a Manufacturing/Production Environment
