We are in search of a Pricing Controller to join our team, reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager. The successful candidate will support external sales with precise and effective price management, adhering to our pricing guidelines and margin management process. This role is ideal for someone who is quick-thinking, able to build strong relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Apply Group Policies including Equal Opportunities, Environment, Quality, and Health & Safety.
- Price new and current specifications for customers and produce quotations, liaising with internal departments to ensure accuracy.
- Assist the external sales team with commercial preparations for tenders and final negotiations.
- Maintain and update the SAP costing system accurately.
- Manage general price updates and the launch of new customer price lists.
- Support external sales and technical departments with Business Improvement Projects analysis and resolution.
- Liaise with customer service to ensure correct pricing of orders.
- Assist the Commercial Manager with ad hoc projects, analysis, and reports.
- Proficiency in PC use, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Experience in a busy and fast-paced environment, with the drive and determination to succeed.
- Experience in a Commercial role and understanding of Microeconomics (balance sheet, profit and loss account, etc.) is desirable.
- Competitive salary range of £30,000 - £38,000.
