Purpose of job:

As a Pricing and Yield Manager, you will report directly to the Senior Group Revenue & Systems Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to support Pricing and revenue management strategies for the organisation's extensive portfolio. The key objective is to optimise revenue and contribute to the overall success of the company in the competitive Travel and Leisure industry.

Key responsibilities:

• Forecast revenue performance and actively contribute to management reviews
• Deliver budgeted revenue for a designated portfolio of accommodations
• Contribute to the development and improvement of pricing structures
• Assist in enhancing the functionality of the Revenue Management system
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maximise customer utilisation through effective price promotions
• Ensure the availability and maintenance of relevant reports and tools for efficient revenue management

Duties include:

• Base recommendations on sound commercial judgment through thorough analysis of performance metrics and industry trends
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments to enhance overall organisational performance
• Implement effective yield management and pricing strategies to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction
• Manage pricing for accommodations across various channels
• Monitor competitors' performance and incorporate findings into strategic revenue management actions
• Plan and execute promotions to stimulate demand, providing detailed performance reports

Core skills and experience:

• Highly proficient in computer skills, particularly advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with Revenue Management Systems, pricing, and reporting technology systems
• Proactive, results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to drive positive change
• Confidence to communicate and present effectively at all levels within the organisation
• Ability to analyse large datasets, provide insights, and make strategic recommendations
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
• Expert understanding of effective Yield and Revenue Management practices, and pricing principles
• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience as a Pricing and Revenue Manager (ideally within the Hospitality or Travel and Leisure industry)
