The Primary Classroom Teacher will:
- Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher as set out in the Teachers’ Standards Part 1 and Part 2.
- Plan and deliver exceptional lessons in line with the school’s curriculum policies.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of pupils is promoted by adhering to the safeguarding policies and procedures of the school.
- Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work.
- Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment.
- Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils.
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.
- Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils.
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge.
- Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school.
- Work with others on curriculum and pupil development to secure co-ordinated outcomes.
- Build positive and professional relationships with parents.
- Develop effective professional relationships with colleagues.
- Have proper and professional regard for the ethos, policies and practices of the school.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in the role of Primary Classroom Teacher starting in September 2024. Our provision includes small class sizes of 8 pupils, sensory friendly learning spaces, large classrooms, outside play areas, high staff to pupil ratio and a personalised curriculum approach.
