Primary Literacy Mentor | About the role:
- A Primary Literacy Mentor will support disadvantaged children, children with SEND, and high-achieving children to help push them to break academic barriers.
- Work alongside the EYFS and KS1 Teachers and the SEND team to provide adequate support for each of the students.
- Utilise everything you learned at university, and adapt your skills to improve children's English and Literacy skills.
- Option for school’s direct teacher training after a year – perfect for Primary Literacy Mentors looking to get into teaching!
- First-class graduates from a Top UK University with a degree in English, Linguistics, Education or Modern Languages.
- An individual with a passion for working with vulnerable and disadvantaged children and a kind and caring personality.
- Any previous experience in tutoring or teaching.
- Anyone with an interest in Linguistics, a Career as a Primary School Teacher or even Speech and Language.
