To work as a member of the Community CAMHS Tier 2/Getting Help Mental Health Service to Children and Young People This includes the direct provision of evidence based, outcome focused standards of care to children and families and the delivery of high quality training, consultation and support to other Childrens Service Providers. The service will be delivered from Community Bases as an integral part of an agreed model of tiered multi-agency model of CAMHS provision. To work autonomously, assessing individual patient/client needs, initiating investigations, determining a plan of care and initiating appropriate holistic, research based health information and care To act as a resource for all members of the multi-disciplinary team, keeping up to date with research literature and practice guidance, and provide expert advice in relation to the Mental Health of targeted groups of children and young people. To provide a targeted community based child and adolescent Mental Health service to children, young people (aged 0-18) and their families. To offer support for mild to moderate Mental Health needs that cannot be met by universal or early intervention services.
