Primary School - Regional Caretaker (Supply Or Permanent)

 
Pertemps Education are looking for a Supply or temp to perm Caretaker for a Primary School based near Maldon to start urgently. If you have experience and looking for something full time and long term or Permanent, please do reach out and read below.
 
This post is ideally an ASAP start, based at one particular school, with the expectation to support other schools within the group when needed. 
The hours would be 37 HR/Wk
Monday Hours 7:00 am to 4 pm with an unpaid break of 1.5 hours ( 7.5 Hrs/Day)
Tuesday Hours 7:00 am to 4 pm with an unpaid break of 1.5 hours ( 7.5 Hrs/Day)
Wednesday Hours 7:00 am to 4 pm with an unpaid break of 1.5 hours ( 7.5 Hrs/Day)
Thursday Hours 7:00 am to 4 pm with an unpaid break of 1.5 hours ( 7.5 Hrs/Day)
Friday Hours 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with an unpaid break of 1.5 hours ( 7.0 Hrs/Day)
Main Objectives:
To ensure that the day-to-day site requirements are met for each of the region's academies.
To carry out statutory site duties as required and set by the Regional Premises Manager.

Pertemps Ideal Candidate would:
- Hold a working knowledge of Health & Safety within an education environment
- Eye for detail and proactive problem solver
- Flexible worker & open minded
- Trade skills such as Plumbing & Painting. 
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) 
- Strong time manager 
- Anticipate challenge and act proactively 
We would ideally like to introduce the candidate the school before the christmas holiday, to then work on their compliance & vetting.
In order to work you will need to provide 2 years of recent references,as well as have an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service ( we can process this for you if you do not ).
