Position:Teaching Assistant
Location:Cheadle, Stockport
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £76 to £85 per day (depending on the role)
Contract Type: Temporary, Full-time
About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant in the Cheadle area of Stockport, you will have the unique opportunity to work 1:1 with a child who has additional needs. This role requires a compassionate and experienced individual with a strong commitment to providing support and encouragement to facilitate the child's learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the child, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Foster a nurturing and supportive relationship with the child to enhance their overall educational experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, especially in a 1:1 setting.
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with children with additional needs.
- Excellent behaviour management skills.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications in education or related field.
