Primary Teacher

Step Teachers are currently working with a brilliant Primary school to locate a year 3/4 teacher to cover a temp to perm position. 

As a Primary Teacher, you are required to have experience working with SEMH and EHCP students. Furthermore, as a Primary Teacher, you are required to mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress, manage the work of teaching assistants, and follow safeguarding procedures.

As a Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing personalized support and adapting your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of the students. Your passion for inclusive education, adaptability, and dedication to student success will be highly valued and appreciated in the school community.

Role: 

• Strong KS1/2 knowledge

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed 

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable 

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required 

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons 

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively  

Requirements: 

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of 

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience in Primary Education

• Experience working with students with SEMH and EHCP
