Primary Teachers
Newstaff are seeking dedicated and adaptable Primary Teachers to join our Milton Keynes team as supply cover teachers. As a Supply Teacher you will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and support to primary school students across various year groups. This role requires flexibility, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to quickly integrate into different classroom environments. Supply teaching gives you flexibilility, you are in control of your own diary and can choose to work days that fit around your personal commitments. It also provides variety as you will be covering in differenct schools across Milton Keynes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and year groups in the absense of their class teacher.
- Follow the lesson plans left and school's curriculum and guidelines.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the intellectual, social, and emotional development of students.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.
- Mark all lessons you have taught that day.
- Provide constructive feedback to regular classroom teachers regarding students' progress and behavior.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching primary school students, preferably in a variety of settings or be an ECT.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Newstaff are committed to safeguarding children; the successful applicant will require an enhanced DBS with further vetting checks including references. If you have lived outside the UK for more than 6 months in the past 10 years you will need to provide overseas ‘police good conduct’ check.
