Primary Teacher

A highly popular and successful Primary School in Southwark are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.

They are looking for someone to work within their Early Years classes, supporting children who have Autism. The role will see you working with 2-3 children in total, on a 1:1 basis.

The school are looking for someone who is able to effectively support children who have Autism and are non-verbal. This will involve doing carpet sessions, learning walks and environment breaks with them.

In order to be successful, you will be:

• Passionate about supporting children
• Have a patient and caring nature
• Be willing to get stuck in and do what is required to ensure the children are supported and are learning

The role is available for an ASAP start, and will continue until the end of the academic year, in July 2024.

The hours will be 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
