Primary Teaching Assistant

We are currently working with a variety of schools across Preston, Leyland, and Chorley, that are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (qualified and non-qualified) with a passion for education.

- £10.23 - 11.77 per hour (depending on experience)

What this role will involve…
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation - resources/planning/displays
- Working with specific groups of pupils in improving their Maths and English knowledge
- Providing guidance to pupils throughout the day, allowing them to fully understand the lesson objectives
- Helping to keep pupils engaged and focused on their work
- Create a positive and safe work environment
- Managing pupils' behaviour and wellbeing throughout the day
- Track pupil progression and feedback to the class teacher

- Minimum of last 2 years references

All pay rates that are offered will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. Our working opportunities include temporary positions, permanent contracts, and ad-hoc supply.

We work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
