The School and Role
A two-form entry Primary School based in the Newcastle area are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work full-time, commencing ASAP. This is a full-time, long-term role based within Key Stage 1, supporting in a Year 2 class. Working as part of an established team, the successful candidate will be expected to offer a mix of general and 1:1 support throughout the course of the week. This is a temporary role with potential to turn permanent.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience of working within Key Stage 1 would be preferred.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Level 2 Qualification or above in Supporting Teaching and Learning would be preferred.
