GSL Education are seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school situated in Thorncombe, Chard. The school are looking for candidates with a passion for providing quality SEN provision to meet pupils’ diverse needs.
The role consists of supporting pupils, often on a 1:1 basis, who require additional support. Having experience within a school setting would be beneficial, as well as having experience working with children or adults with SEN. The successful candidate will have the ability to support class teachers to engage learners, motivate children and respond and adapt appropriately to the needs to the pupils they are working with.
The role is available for an immediate start, however the school may also consider part-time applicants.
