SalaryAcademic Appointments are working with many schools in Sheffield and are currently looking to recruit candidates who are looking to work as SEN Teaching Assistant in Primary schools.
Responsibilities include:
• Providing both dedicated SEN support to SEN pupils and the other pupils in class
• Supporting the students’ academic progress and development
• Enabling pupils with SEN to become independent learners
• Assisting with the student's behaviour management and social-emotional development
• Following all school behaviour, safeguarding and Health and Safety policies
Do you Have:
• Experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant with children with additional needs, ideally within SEN/Mainstream settings
• Early Years Practitioner Level 2 and above Or Level 3 Teaching assistant Qualification
• Other higher or equivalent or relevant qualifications to mentioned above
• Good organisational and excellent communication skills
