Principal Applications & Integration Engineer

ROLE:

• As a Principal Applications & Integration Engineer you will work alongside other peer Principal Development Engineers, responsible for working within the commercial and engineering teams to specify technical solutions that meet customer needs
• You will be involved in the configuration of existing designs as well as the proposal of customised design
• You will be directly involved in technical customer-support, and trouble-shooting where required, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
• You will be responsible for the generation and upkeep of product datasheets and technical manuals

REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree in a mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field
• Extensive industrial experience preferably in a high-volume development and production environment. Automotive experience is desirable
• An advanced technical ability in vehicle powertrain including aspects such as engines, motors, inverters, transmissions and driveline
• Previous experience leading small projects & single function teams
• Previous experience having regular contact & communication with customers
