Derbyshire County Council's Property Directorate is undergoing a transformation and we are seeking an enthusiastic and strategic asset manager to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a senior property business partner to key service areas, enabling dynamic and efficient service delivery via appropriate property interventions. You will be helping to shape, influence and deliver an ambitious Asset Management strategy, which will see the rationalisation and transformation of our property portfolio, in line with newly developing models of working in the post Covid-19 landscape. You will be responsible for writing and delivering the Service Asset Management Plans, for identifying projects which deliver the future asset needs of the organisation and for writing business cases and reports to gain the necessary internal approvals.
You will need to be a strategic thinker, effective communicator and creative problem solver, able to lead on a wide range of projects.
The post will sit within our Asset Management Team, based in Matlock but hybrid working, and will be full time.
