Principal Auditor

G2 Recruitment are working alongside our client to hire a permanent Principal Auditor

Salary: £45,441-£48,474 per annum

Start Date: From the end of August

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, flexi hours, audit committee every 3 months which will be an evening meeting where attendance is mandated

Flexible/Remote Working: Hybrid work, approx. 1-2 days per week onsite and onsite for audit committees

Responsibilities

• Managing internal audit team
• Managing and creating audit plan
• Deputising for senior staff where necessary
• Attendance at audit committee

Requirements

• Ideally CCAB/CIIA qualified, open to consider part qualified and support if needs be but experience would have to be exceptional
• Ideally some local government experience
• Management experience
