We are working with a highly reputable multi-disciplinary engineering practice, who have a vacancy available in their vibrant office based in Plymouth.
They are looking for an experienced Principal Civil Engineer with a minimum of 7 years’ who has awareness of construction contracts and terms of appointment. They must also be able to liaise with clients, stakeholders, local authorities, and highways officers. Be fully conversant with sectional agreements such as S38, S278.
The successful Principal Civil Engineer will be given the opportunity to contribute to their impressive portfolio of technically challenging and varied infrastructure projects spanning a wide range of sectors.
Projects: The role will initially be working on projects in the commercial, residential, student accommodation, and many more sectors.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
- Achieved Chartered status;
- Minimum of 7 years’ industry experience;
- Experience of PDS, MicroDrainage and AutoCAD (Civils 3D preferable);
- Knowledge and experience of the application of the CDM Regulations;
- Ability to plan and manage personal and team effectiveness;
- Motivated individual with a positive approach to work.
