Principal Consultant for Sector Leading Procurement Specialists

We are seeking a talented professional, with a proven track record of success in indirect procurement, to lead and deliver on a multitude of projects. Position: Principal Consultant
Location: Hybrid/Home, London Paddington, Client locations
Salary: £55,000-£60,000 + 10% bonus

As the foundation for the procurement strategy, you'll have the responsibility of deciding the procurement approach across project management for clients, including cost reduction assessments, delivery, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities for this Principal Consultant role:
- Drive the philosophy that will shape client's delivery savings projects
- Identifying, analysing and evaluating cost reduction opportunities
- Maintain a strong commercial acumen to nurture client relationships and harness sales opportunities
- Contribute to the development of Marr Procurement including the enhancement of internal methodologies and operations
Key procurement experience required for this role:
- A proven track record of procurement success across the private sector spanning multiple indirect categories
- A plethora of occasions delivering actual saving outcomes across varied spend areas
- A history of managing current and generating new supplier relationships which fostered fruitful value
- Degree level education and CIPS/MCIPS is preferred however not essential
