This is a brilliant opportunity for a Principal Consultant to become part of an award-winning energy management and sustainability business with 30 years' experience at the cutting-edge of the low carbon economy.
As Principal Consultant, your purpose is to lead the technical delivery of complex energy management and building optimisation projects to clients. By engaging with a wide range of key stakeholders on a day-to-day basis, you play a key role in managing sustainability risks and realising opportunities.
To be successful for the Principal Consultant role, you should:
Have a degree in Engineering
Be a chartered Engineer
Have a sound technical knowledge of energy use in buildings including
Have experience manging complex projects
Have experience managing bids and delivering proposals
Have commercial experience in securing and negotiating business contracts; supporting others to do the same Job Responsibilities:
Manage of variety of building optimisation and energy reduction projects
Provide technical input to projects
Identify opportunities for sales and business development and progress business development opportunities in order to increase sales and meet targets
Ensure strong relationships with existing clients with the expectation of maintaining and where possible increasing revenues from key accounts
provide timely responses to operational needs including (but not limited to) invoicing, reviews, project management information, time-sheeting, health & safety, etc.
