As Principal Designer at our client, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products by blending game design expertise and a foundation in UI/UX research and design with therapeutic requirements to help us achieve our goal of building the most used rehabilitation software in the world.
In your first few weeks in this Principal Designer role, you can expect to:
- Command the functional design and UI/UX across our AR rehabilitation and web dashboard, offering an unparalleled, seamless experience for both patients and healthcare professionals
- Engage with clinical stakeholders, academic partners, patients, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Innovate and conceptualise interaction and game designs that align with therapeutic aims
- Supervise the design spectrum, encompassing user research and interviews, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, feedback, iteration, and final asset creation
To apply for this Principal Designer role, you will need a bachelor's degree in game design, UXUI design, human factors, and a minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in game-based software or software product. You will also require the following:
- Proven expertise in designing intuitive and engaging interfaces for AR/VR and web platforms
- Good skills in design such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Unity, and others relevant to ARVR
- Exceptional ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, clinicians, patients, scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders
