This is an employee-owned business with a multi-disciplined team of 38 engineers. They are currently refurbishing their office and adding in a breakout space with a dartboard and a games table.
They are looking for a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:
- Design of commercial, industrial, medical, leisure, retail, extra care homes, residential and mixed-use schemes etc.
- Production of drawings, reports and specifications.
- Direct client and external team liaison on technical issues.
- Project management & general co-ordination.
- Management of suppliers/monitoring contractors.
- Encouraging the use of sustainable design.
- IT skills (including the ability to use industry standard software).
- Senior - helping graduates/junior engineers. Principal - leading a small team.
- Around 5+ years' Building Services experience.
- Degree qualified.
- IES experience.
- Ability to run own jobs and prioritize workload effectively.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- CIBSE member.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Salary circa £55,000-£65,000 DOE.
