Purpose
To meet with the expansion plans, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal SecurityEngineer - SOC to join our cybersecurity team in ZING. You will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and managing all aspects of Security Operations, cyber incident management, and logging and monitoring within our organization. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures for Security Operations, incident management, and logging and monitoring.
- Build, mentor, and manage a team of SOC analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, network operations, and other relevant departments, to ensure effective security incident response and resolution.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents using SIEM tools and other security technologies.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents promptly, following established incident response protocols.
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures, ensuring they align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper configuration and management of logging and monitoring solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and provide recommendations for improving our security posture.
