ON-SITE, 5 days a week at the office in Basingstoke, UK
Key Responsibilities:
Domain Leadership: Serve as technical lead in the Level 1/2 testing and certification of payment cards, leveraging your expertise to navigate through the diverse markets where UL operates.
Knowledge Development and Process Innovation: Drive the development of cutting-edge knowledge, design efficient processes, and continually improve and optimize existing methodologies.
Accreditations and Qualifications: Lead the charge in maintaining and acquiring Payment Scheme accreditations and qualifications for innovative test services, staying at the forefront of industry standards.
Project Scoping and Customer Guidance: Take the helm in scoping projects and offering expert guidance to our valued customers throughout the entire lifecycle of testing, validation, or certification projects.
Adherence to Standards and Security Practices: Uphold the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct diligently, while meticulously following both physical and digital security practices.
Versatility in Role: Embrace flexibility by performing additional duties as directed, contributing holistically to the success and growth of our initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven track record as a leader in the testing and certification of Payment Scheme cards especially level 2 functional testing.
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and knowledge development.
Experience in acquiring accreditations for new test services is highly desirable.
Exceptional project management skills with a customer-centric approach.
Commitment to upholding professional standards and stringent security practices.
Bachelor or Master Degree in a technical discipline plus generally five year of directly related experience.
Experience in test procedures and test tools relevant to Level 2 testing of payment products
Experience in managing customers is a plus

UL Solutions operates over 300 laboratories across 29 countries. UL Solutions ' laboratories are positioned to meet the needs of our global customer base either through large centers of excellence with vast capabilities and capacities or through strategically located laboratories focused on the needs of more local or regional customers. Our diverse laboratories provides industry-leading testing capabilities and test everything form the latest smartphone technologies to the most foundational products, such as concrete blocks.
