One of my key clients working in the EV Sector based in Warwickshire is looking for Power Electronics Engineers to join their growing team.
Role: Principal Power Electronics Engineer
Role: Senior Power Electronics Engineer
Salary: £50k to £80k + Package
WFH: 3 days per week
Location: Warwickshire
Key Skills:
- Power Electronics
- Design of Motor Drive, Inverters, AC/DC Converters
- Prototyping, testing and debugging
- Leadership
- Time Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the design and development of Power Electronics components
- Plan and execute comprehensive testing procedures to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of Power Electronics systems
- Identify and select appropriate power electronic components
- Researching, devising and recommending solutions to technical problems
- Setting up and running lab simulations
- Taking ownership of power supply and related electronics activities ensuring the work is focussed on the project objectives.
- Providing Technical leadership and decisions on escalation items
Nice to have:
- Simulation and modelling of power converters (MATLAB/Simulink)
- Thermal design experience
- Grid technologies
