Job Opportunity: Digital Print Finisher Supervisor - Nights

Salary: £28,000 p/annum

Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm - 6am

Join our client, a renowned litho & digital printing company celebrated for quality and service. We're seeking an experienced individual for a dynamic role in their well-established company. As a Digital Print Finisher, you'll collaborate closely with the Head of Digital, ensuring timely project dispatch and meeting SLA's with 100% accuracy.

The Digital Print Finisher will be responsible for accurately producing work in line with job specifications. You will be required to handle the day-to-day finishing within the department, whilst upholding company quality control practices and ensuring high quality of work is produced.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with production management promptly
• Ensure jobs are produced to specifications on provided job sheets
• Assist operators to ensure quality and maximum output; approve work following pass sheets and procedures
• Maintain and monitor all company processes and procedures consistently
• Demonstrate a flexible approach to shift work and overtime
• Possess a full working knowledge of various finishing processes and equipment within the Finishing Department
• Be fully conversant with a range of folding, guillotine, stitching, perfect binding, lamination, and one-piece mailing equipment
• Manage the Finishing Department Team, overseeing time and attendance, holiday schedules, recruitment, and discipline when necessary
• Keep areas clean and tidy, adhering to lean policy
• Learn computer data skills (i.e., Navision/Digi Q)
• Complete maintenance programs and KPI sheets
• Attend, comply, and enforce all training and Health & Safety policies
• Undertake compliance with the Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and associated policies

Requirements:

• Previously worked in a supervisory role within a printing environment
• Experience with print finishing, including using a guillotine, laminator, and binding
• Competent in health and safety practices
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
