Graphic Packaging International is a Global FMCG manufacturer with 41 Converting sites across Europe.

We currently have exciting opportunities for you to join our team as a Print Finishing Assistant.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• To undertake quality checks on work as it is produced
• To assist team leaders
• Maintenance of machinery
• Carry out all duties in accordance with the standards required, in terms of housekeeping, hygiene and product quality including continually & regularly checking the quality of the cartons throughout the job, making specific checks (such as colour, glue and window alignment, pressure marks, etc), ensuring appropriate line clearance & cleanliness, and completion of in-process inspection documentation. Report any issues affecting quality or non-compliance immediately
• Carry out all duties in accordance with the standards required
• Provide a fair amount of cover for holidays and/or sickness as required
• Ensure good working relationships with superiors, subordinates and peers, customers and any 3rd party visitors at all times
• Perform other duties as directed by your line manager

• Good standard of English, able to understand verbal or written instructions, able to complete all forms of required documentation, able to produce information as required, able to assist in the production of standard operating procedures and able to train others
• Good common sense, able to use everyday judgement to solve problems
• Flexible, reliable, punctual, good attendance

Hours of work -rotating 3 x 12 hours shifts - days and nights. (Will be explained at interview)
