The post holder will provide an effective and efficient shopping and sundry provision service to the prisoner population within strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. They will accurately collate and process individual orders, via a bagging & tagging operation and delivering of the orders to residential areas. The post holder may be required to cover other areas within the wider finance function as highlighted by management.
Responsibilities

Contribute to an effective and efficient bag & tag service and be responsible for the timeous delivery of goods. The post holder will be required to undertake manual handling duties in a warehouse type vicinity and driving of a small goods vehicle around the establishment.

Prepare & check canteen sheets for accuracy and process orders through an electronic point of sale system.

Accurately pick, charge on till and seal prisoners canteen orders in preparation to deliver to residential areas within strict deadlines.

Receive and check weekly stock delivery and input onto stock management software. Effective stock management, rotation and including physical stock check.

Assist with the PPC & Wages function as and when required.

As part of a wider multi-functional team you will be required to perform other tasks/ relief cover as specified by the Prisoner Services Manager.
