Job Title: Private Client Legal Secretary

Salary: GBP24,000 - GBP26,000

Location: Margate

An excellent opportunity has arisen with my client, a leading law firm based in East Kent. We are seeking a highly motivated and career driven Legal Secretary to join a busy Private Client team. You will have the opportunity to work with a highly reputable team while being given the framework to develop your own career.

Duties include:

• Providing full secretarial support to one fee earner
• Diary management
• Onboarding new clients and carrying out KYC checks
• Preparing letters and emails
• Digital dictation
• Billing
• Initial drafting of basic wills and LPAs
• Dealing with correspondence and ensuring all correspondence and documents are accurately filed in the case management system

The successful candidate will have:

• Commercial experience as a Legal Secretary/Assistant in a Private Client practice
• Basic understanding and application of Wills and Probate Laws
• Previous experience with Legal software packages and/or case management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Package:

• GBP24,000 - GBP26,000
