Responsibilities include crafting correspondence through audio-typing and word processing, meticulous file management, and coordinating client documentation with the utmost confidentiality.
The role extends to managing communications, orchestrating appointments and meetings, and maintaining fee earners' diaries. The successful individual will also oversee the preparation of meeting spaces, providing refreshments, and ensuring a hospitable environment for clients.
Supporting colleagues, mentoring junior staff, and engaging in professional development are key aspects of this position. Additionally, the role encompasses online form processing, case management system operation, and continuous improvement of document presentation and department efficiency.
Candidates must possess substantial legal secretarial experience, with at least one year in a Private Client department for the Legal Secretary role or two-plus years for the PA role. Advanced IT proficiency and exceptional communication skills are essential, alongside a proactive work ethic and the ability to manage workloads effectively.
