This role is suitable for those in the last seat of their training contract looking to secure an NQ position. 
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Solicitor to join a esteemed Private Client department in Newcastle. As a vital member of our team, you will collaborate closely with Partners and fee earners to deliver a comprehensive range of Private Client legal services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a diverse caseload of Private Client matters, including inheritance tax mitigation, estate planning, and Will structuring.
- Collaborating with international legal teams to manage clients' foreign assets and coordinate multi-jurisdictional Will arrangements.
- Providing expert advice on business succession planning, Trust creation, and administration, including Trust accounting and beneficiary relations.
- Assisting in the administration of Estates, including complex cases involving business interests and foreign properties.
- Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney and drafting bespoke legal documents to meet clients' needs.
- Participating in business development activities, networking, and engaging in relevant social media initiatives.
- Keeping abreast of changes in the law and undertaking continuing professional development activities.
Who are we looking for?
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Private Client law, with an appreciation for its interaction with Corporate, Family, and Property law.
- Preferably hold or be working towards a STEP qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also independently managing caseloads.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
