Join the Macquarie Asset Management Private Credit legal team to support our investment team based in London. This role would report directly to the Head of Legal for Macquarie Asset Management Private Credit.

What role will you play?
You will be an integral part of the Macquarie Asset Management Private Credit Legal team, working closely with the Investment Team as well as with the Fundraising and Fund Management Teams. Macquarie Asset Management Private Credit’s investment strategies include infrastructure debt, secured income real estate and fund financing. The role is expected to be evenly split across these areas with a slight weighting towards infrastructure debt.
What you offer
- Approximately 3-6 years post qualification experience in English law gained either at an international law firm and/or leading financial institution
- Expertise in secured lending and leveraged finance; strong technical knowledge and understanding of typical forms of secured debt documentation (including term sheets, mandate letters, credit agreements, note purchase agreements, intercreditor agreements, guarantees and security documents)
- Some experience working on infrastructure debt across a variety of sectors; expertise in at least some of the following: project financing, energy financing, renewables, utilities and transport financing
- Knowledge of and experience of secondary loan transfer documentation is an advantage but not required
