SalaryOur client, based in Bristol, is a prominent investment management firm specialising in the investment of large pension schemes, renowned for their remarkable fund performance and substantial growth. A 12-14-month fixed term contract to cover maternity has arisen for an experience Private Markets (Private Equity, Private Debt or Property) Investment Operations Analyst with 3 + years' experience. Based in Bristol, our client is open to consider candidates looking for remote work with travel to the office a minimum of 1 day per month.
This is an engaging operation\'s role, encompassing daily collaboration with the in-house Private Markets Investment team, external fund managers and third-party administrators requiring strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. This dynamic operations role will oversee and ensure KPI's and SLAs are met by the firm's third-party administrators dedicated to private market investments, to include private equity, real estate, and alternative investments. Private Markets Operations experience is a must to be considered. Although this is a varied role, your Private Markets investment operations experience will include cash management and the full trade lifecycle as you assume responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of investment cash flows (capital draw downs and distributions) between investors and in-house/third-party records, resolving cash breaks, update FX rates and process payments to name just a few responsibilities.
Your exceptional communication skills will come into play as you conduct due external fund manager diligence reviews. You will also manage, instruct and oversee third-party administrators, custodians, outsourced providers, external Fund Managers, and third-party fund accountants, ensuring all third-party vendors meet contractual service level agreements and key performance indicators.
Additionally, you will have opportunities to contribute to business and system changes for investment operations, contributing your insights and support. To be considered, candidates will possess a degree-level education, and a robust understanding of the full trade lifecycle across Private Markets (property, private equity or private debt).
