We would like to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Officer to join the Private Sector Housing Teams within the Environment and Regulatory Service in both Guildford Borough Council & Waverley Borough Council to bring empty properties back into use. The service regulates a diverse range of disciplines including: environmental control, public health, food safety, health & safety, licensing, planning, Private Sector Housing and environmental crime. Your role will be to deliver regulatory services in relation to Private Sector Housing and empty properties.

On a typical day, you would:
Work to proactively and reactively bringing empty properties back into use; Investigate reports relating to Private Sector Housing; To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

The team regulates a diverse range of disciplines including: environmental control, public health, food safety, health & safety, licensing, planning, Private Sector Housing and environmental crime. Your role will be to deliver regulatory services in relation to Private Sector Housing.
