They are currently going through a high growth period as they continue to develop new products and processes and as they continue to scale up their operations to meet the demands of an increasing client base, and they are now looking to expand their team of Process Development Engineers. In this role you will be a part of the R&D team, working together to scale up production processes for sustainable fermentation products. Working inside the lab at times, you will be carrying out experiments and producing novel equipment for the lab. The Ideal candidate will have either a Master's Degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a relevant discipline. Whilst also requiring some practical experience, the company will mainly be looking for someone who has a can-do attitude and will fit straight in with the company culture. The role:

• Working within R&D team to scale up cost-effective & sustainable production processes
• Carry out R&D experiments in the lab
• Designing novel equipment for use in labs and pilot plants
• Establish external collaboration to ensure that all processes are effective for commercial interest
• Work within interdisciplinary teams such as Science, Engineering, and Business Development

The Person:

• Masters Degree of PhD in Chemical Engineering (Or relevant discipline)
• Previous experience in Chemical/Process Engineering
• Experience working on biotechnology or having knowledge of the subject is desirable
• Ability to work on highly specialised fermentation and downstream processing technologies
