GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a hugely successful, internationally renowned manufacturing company, located in Stafford. We are currently supporting their recruitment for a Process Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent contract.
The successful candidate must be able to show that they have been the catalyst for the introduction of Lean or at least process improvement projects in previous roles.
This position is working Monday – Thursday 08:00am – 17:00pm with a Friday finish of 15:45pm offering a highly competitive salary of £35,000 plus additional company benefits such as onsite parking, new updated eating facilities, pension contribution and life insurance.
We are now looking for a well-rounded Process Engineer who is used to a constantly changing environment and has a good knowledge of introducing Lean Techniques in an assembly driven company.
Process Engineer duties;
- You will develop workflow, work station, and equipment improvement recommendations within a busy manufacturing environment
- Fine tune the manufacturing processes by researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
- Ensure that the manufacturing shop floor is running safe, efficiently and on time for customer products
- Improve the process by introducing Lean techniques
It is not enough to have worked within a Lean Environment, you will need to demonstrate you have been the catalyst for the introduction of Lean or at least process improvement projects.
Would expect a minimal education level of HNC in either mechanical or electrical engineer but would consider someone who can show impressive achievement in introducing Lean but without the formal qualifications.
