Process Engineer

A specialist pharmaceuticals manufacturer, now have an opening for Process Engineer, to join their expanding facility in South Oxfordshire

It is an exciting time to join the business and will provide the opportunity to progress and develop your career further.

As the Process Engineer key responsibilities will include;

1. Optimising Manufacturing Processes in order to:

• Improve Usages
• Minimise Waste
• Increase capacity and production rates
• Increase Productivity
• Improve Process

2. Work with Production Manager to:

• Simplify standards and standardising manual operations
• Improve plant ergonomics.
• Improving efficiency of assets
• Improving the safety of production processes

3.Plant and process improvements will include:

• Develop delay projects, capacity increase projects and projects associated with new product introduction
• Ensure the continuous improvement of plant efficiency
• Implementation of productivity programs
• Ensure production procedures are written and updated
• Ensure execution of SAP production confirmations
• Ensure the implementation of quality and EHS programs
• Provide training on procedures to operatives
• The use of Project Management Techniques to achieve project objectives, ensuring compliance with cost, quality and implementation costs

Qualifications - Skills - Experience:

• Chemistry or Chemicial Engineering degree
• Minimum 2 year's experience in Process or Production Engineering
• Project Management skills
• Lean Six Sigma Green belt is beneficial
• Self-starter and strong Leadership skills
• Value Stream Mapping
• Kaizen facilitation
• Kanban planning
• 5S
• Visual controls and Visual factory
• Statistical Techniques
