WHAT TO EXPECT
We have a great opportunity for a Process Manager with Manufacturing Launch experience to join our team in Gaydon.

This role will be a highly cross functional activity with a great level of complexity that requires engagement across the manufacturing team and external stakeholders such as s Product Engineering & Plant Vehicle teams, Industrial Operations Programme Delivery, Engineering Operations & Agile Hub, Supplier Technical Assistance etc.

You will drive the achievement of Process Excellence for our business processes landscape relating to the Launch and change management activity of the Production Eco-system through the definition and implementation of the appropriate Processes & Standards, Tools & Methods, Systems and Training activity.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Implement, Lead and Deliver a structured approach to the Production system launch and change activity using business process improvement methods in order to develop more effective and efficient ways of working through:
  • Definition of the process structure and accountabilities. 
  • Definition of Process standards, risk assessments, governance and Production readiness maturity KPI’s.
  • Definition supporting of systems, tools and methods.
  • Process implementation through training and coaching.
• On-going audit, assessment and continuous improvement initiatives to drive organisational competence.
• Define and implement the required tools and methods to support the process.
• Effective stakeholder management and contracting to ensure projects add value and are aligned to stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure continuous improvement within the area of responsibility and support continuous improvement events and activities.
• Undertake any other work as directed by their leadership in connection with their job as may be requested.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Relevant previous experience of Business Process Improvement gained at an appropriate level to drive enterprise level change.
• Broad Knowledge and experience of Manufacturing technologies, process & product change management within a comparable organisation. 
• Experience of managing a multi-skilled team.
• Evidence of leadership capability and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of Project Management and use of Project Management techniques.
• Knowledge of Quality Operating Systems procedures and deliverables.
