ABOUT THIS PROJECT We're looking for Engineering Graduates to join our Operations team in one of the following locations: Ashford (UK) & Chartres (France), One process engineer per plant. As our graduate process engineer, you will be working on a dedicated assignment to improve all aspects of a piece of equipment and own all KPIs related to a certain machine. You will be doing this in one of our manufacturing plants and we will support you in your development along the way. This assignment is part of our journey to increase the diversity in our teams across the world. The objective of this initiative is to hire graduates with diverse backgrounds to increase the diversity of the populations in our manufacturing plants and to support young talents in their development within Coty. YOU MUST BE THE HOLDER OF A VALID PASSPORT - (MINIMUM 6 MONTHS) Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify, prioritize and eliminate process losses. Interact with cross functional partners and Supplier Quality Engineer's to ensure effective implementation of new products. Degree in an Engineering Discipline
- Hold a valid passport to allow travel to another country
- 0 to 2 years of working experience. Any experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to root cause problem solving, Lean Manufacturing practices and/or continuous improvement is a plus.
- Knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes, methodologies, and mathematical/engineering methods to solve problems in a manufacturing environment, (know the tools such as oka yoke / mistake proofing / pFMEA, SMED, 5S, etc., familiar with Key Performance Indicator reporting, Loss Tree, 5-whys, etc.)
- Advanced Office packages skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Fluency in English and ideally in French, Spanish or Portuguese
- And you will gain international working experience.
